On 11/23 we planned to visit 川越 (Kawagoe), which is located in 埼玉県 & well known as 小江戸川越 (as it's a town full of 江戸時代風情 & there's a street still keeping many 江戸時代建築)...and we hoped to see beautiful autumn leaves too!
We had breakfast in home before we went out:
(Carly helped to make the fried egg! ^_^)
We took some photos of 桜ちゃん & Carly's Lumi in my home:
Thanks very much to Carly for this lovely dress! (0^v^0)
btw, 桜ちゃん is using the new wig that I bought for her in HK!
So happy to find the cats nearby my home, they're J & Chibi:
We bought the Kawagoe Free Pass, which included the round-trip ticket for taking Seibu Shinjuku Line to Kawagoe from Shinjuku...in order to save time, we paid extra 410yen for taking this express train!
We took a few photos of 小狼 & Lumi inside the train:
小狼: We're going to see autumn leaves! Are you happy?! ^0^
I love these two leaves! The sky was so blue on that day! ^0^
Not many leaves turn red yet...a bit disappointed!
It was too cold...we ate something hot to get some warmth!
After visiting 喜多院, we took shuttle bus and visited 本丸御殿...we found the reddest autumn leaves there!
We didn't have enough time, so didn't go inside the museum inside 本丸御殿...we just took some photos in front of 本丸御殿 & waited for shuttle bus again! (however, we waited for more than 20mins...-_-||| and too much cold! >_<) btw, this time we can take this old type shuttle bus la! (last times we took the new type shuttle bus)
Our final stop was 蔵造りの町並み...
(時の鐘 is one of the famous spot around there)
We had our late lunch around 4:30pm...both of us ate hot udon to keep body warmth!
Sunset was early in this season, it's already so dark after 5pm...after lunch, we walked to 菓子屋横丁 & bought some japanese sweets! :P
We took the final shuttle bus & arrived at train station before 6pm...we can take the express train left from 5:50pm...
小狼： Mom, going back now?! but I didn't see any autumn leaves! (he was unhappy...but sorry ar, no chance to take photos of him while sight-seeing...haha! ^_^|||)
We had a dinner with my husband & his friend in Shibuya...we ate お好み焼き...I prefer 大阪 style (left one) more than 東京 style (right one...I think it's just like 一pet野...)
